Job Vacancy In Goa PSC for 53 Post,May-2014
Applications are invited by the Commission for the below mentioned posts under Government of Goa. For details of posts, Departments, Scale of pay, age and educational qualifications and experience kindly refer to Commission website http://goapsc.gov.in. Candidates may download the application form along with the instruction to the candidates from the same website to apply for the post separately. The last date for receipt of applications in the Commission is 15.05.2014.
2. Candidates shall note that the Application Fee is enhanced to * 400/- for General Category Candidates and those for SC, ST, OBC, Physically
Handicapped and Ex-serviceman, it is 50% of the Application Fee i.e. " 200/-. The application form should be accompanied by an Indian Postal Order or Demand Draft for the amount equivalent to the application fee payable to "The Secretary, GOA PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION"
payable at Panjim.
3. Incomplete applications in any manner are liable to be rejected summarily by the Commission.
4. 'The upper age limit shown against each post is relaxable upto 5 years for the candidates belonging to SC/ST, upto 3 years for candidates belonging to OBC, upto 5 years (total 10 years for SC/ST & 8 years for OBC in respect of posts reserved for them) to blind, deaf-mute and orthopedically handicapped person and upto 5 years for CFF. Age is also relaxable for Government Servants upto 5 years as per the instructions issued by the Government from time to time".
5. In case of non-availability of suitable candidates with the knowledge of Konkani, for the posts in professional colleges, Consultants in Directorate of Health Services and highly technical/scientific posts, this requirement can be relaxed.
6. Prescribed EQs are minimum & mere possession of same does not entitle the candidates to be called for interview. Where number of applications received is large, the Commission will short list the candidates to be called for interview as mentioned in the "Instructions".
