HSL is the pioneer Shipbuilding and Ship repair Yard functioning under the Ministry of Defence. The Company is looking for Semi-skilled workmen in the following posts.

- Turners : 5 Posts
- Fitters (incl. Structural Fitters) :25 Posts
- Carpenters : 2 Posts
- Machinists :3 Posts
- Plumbers :10 Posts
- Electricians :15 Posts
- Crane Operators : 3 Posts
Qualification : SSC Passed
Age Limit : 28 years as on 01 Apr 2014.
Pay Scale : Rs. 6,970-13,700 plus other admissible allowances.
