All the applicants are advised to read the Prospectus of the B.Ed Entrance Test-2014 carefully before filling up the Form which is available on www.hpuniv.in & www.hpuniv.nic.in in pdf format and also ensure that he/she is eligible in terms of the conditions/provisions mentioned in the Prospectus. The copy of the Prospectus may also be downloaded from the said website for ready reference.
Please read these instructions carefully before proceeding with the ONLINE filling of B.Ed Entrance Test Application Form 2014.
Eligibility :
The candidates with at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor's Degree (Medical/Non-Medical//Commerce/Arts) and/or in the Master's Degree or any other qualification equivalent thereto (any candidate with 49.99 % or less Marks would not be eligible) and 45% marks in case of SC/ST/OBC/Physically Handicapped categories (any candidate with 44.99% or less Marks would not be eligible) from a recognized University established by law in India are eligible for admission to the programme. (Para 3.2 of Appendix IV NCTE Notification No.F-5IFl/2007-NCTE (N&S) dated 27.11.2007 ).
Educational Qualification :
The candidates who have appeared in BA/B.Sc./B.Com. final year or Master's Degree examination and the result of the same has not yet been declared, can also apply for B.Ed. Entrance Test. However, the admission will be made subject to the production of certificate of qualifying examination with required percentage of aggregate marks at BA/B.Sc./B.Com./Master's level examinations as per the eligibility clause of the prospectus on the day of admission/counseling. In case, a candidate does not fulfill the eligibility conditions on the particular day of admission/counseling, he/she will have no right for admission to the B.Ed, course.
Important Dates :
1. Online filling up of B.Ed Entrance Application form commences from 14.04.2014.
2. Last date for filling up ONLINE B.Ed Entrance Application Form 16.05.2014.
3. Last date for receipt of the Computer Generated Confirmation Copy/ Hard Copy of ONLINE Application Form of B.Ed Entrance Test in the Office of Assistant Registrar (Entrance Tests), Room No.10, Administrative Block, H.P. University, Shimla -171005 by Registered/Speed post or by hand is 22.05.2014.
4. Admit Cards/Roll Nos. can be downloaded from the H.P. University Website www.hpuniv.in with effect from 26.05.2014.
5. Date of Entrance Examination 08.06.2014 (Sunday).
