The following apprentice training positions are available in this Centre for positioning as Graduate/Technician Apprentices under the Apprentices Act 1961 and Amendment Act of 1973.

Condition for Selecting Apprentice :
1. Only pass out candidates in their respective course need to apply. Candidates who have passed their qualifying course prior to August 2011 need not apply.
2. Courses recognized by Universities / State Boards from Southern region (Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Pondicherry) will be given preference.
3. The duration of the training will be one year.
4. Selected candidates will be registered under the Apprentices Act, 1961 and Amendment Act of 1973; for which they should execute a contract.
5. Ex-Apprentices or current Apprentices in any organization/firm are not eligible.
6. Those candidates with one year or more job experience either in Govt./Public/Private sectors are not eligible for Graduate/Technician Apprenticeship.
7. Combining of Apprenticeship with other institutions not permitted.
8. Upper age limit is 30 years. (33 years for OBC, 35 years for SC/ST, 40 years for PH candidates.
9. Reservation to SC/ST/OBC/PH applicable.
10. Candidates should attach true copies of certificates of their qualifications acquired from SSLC/SSC/AISSC onwards. Copies of experience, if any, copy of community certificate (if belongs to SC/ST), Non-Creamy layer certificate (if belongs to OBC), Disability certificate (if PH candidate) also to be furnished.
11. Sandwich degrees/diplomas, private degree/diploma, short term courses are not acceptable.
12. Only Indian nationals need apply.
13. The trainees will have no claim whatsoever for employment in Vikram Sarabhai Space Center or any other Centers /Units of Indian Space Research Organisation/Department of Space after completion of the training period.
