A leading international non-profit hearth organization is hiring Public Hearth Program Officers based at various district headquarters of high focus NRHM states in India for providing technical assistance to the state governments for integrating Postpartum Family Planning/ Postpartum Intrauterine Contraceptive Device (PPFP/ PPIUCD) services into the national family planning program.
The applicant must hold a mbbs degree. Post-graduation in Public Health and/ or experience/ interest in FP/ RH is desirable. The Program Officer will be responsible for implementing the PPFP/ PPIUCD program in the assigned districts; working closely with district government by strengthening their capacity; facilitating clinical trainings and providing on-site technical support. Ability to work on MS Office and good command on spoken and written English and Hindi languages is required.
