Qualification	Civilian Motor Driver (Ordinary Grade) -(i) Matriculation Pass or ITI equivalent from a recognized Board/ Institution. (ii) Must possess a valid Driving license for Heavy Motor Vehicles -(HMV). (iii) Must have at least one year practical experience in driving Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMVs). Fire Engine Driver -(i) Matriculation Pass or ITI equivalent from a recognized Board /Institution. (ii) Must have at least three year practical experience in Driving HMVs and to be in possession of valid driving license. (iii) Must be physically fit and capable of performing strenuous duties and must have passed the test as specified at Para 3. Fireman -(i) Must have passed Matriculation or ITI equivalent examination from recognized board or institutions. (ii) Must be physically fit and capable of performing strenuous duties and must have passed the test as specified at Para 3.
Pay Scale	Civilian Motor Driver (Ordinary Grade) -Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs. 1900/-(PB-1) Fire Engine Driver- Rs. 5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs. 2000/-(PB-1) Fireman - Rs. 5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs.1900/- (PB-1)
