HAL's spectrum of expertise encompasses design, development, manufacture, repair, overhaul and upgrade of Aircraft, Helicopters, Aero-engines, Industrial & Marine Gas Turbines, Accessories, Avionics & Systems and Structural Components for Satellite & Launch Vehicles.
HAL, Aircraft Division, Nashik is a independent profit centre and is currently engaged in the raw material manufacturing of SU-30 aircraft under license, repair/overhaul of MiG-21/27M aircraft variants, Bison and their aggregate and in mid-life upgrade and modification of various types of Russian origin aircraft, design & development support to MiG-21 series, MiG-27M, SU-30 MKI series Aircraft and its systems.

| Qualification | For Post Code XS001 to XS007 : IAF Diploma or Diploma in Engineering (Fulltime regular) or its equivalent. For Post Code XS008: PUC/ Inter (Fulltime regular) or equivalent with Proficiency certificate in PC Operation (Minimum 3 Months). |

| Pay Scale | Ex-Servicemen technicians engaged on contract basis will be paid consolidated emoluments (Basic+DA) based on their post qualification experience, the minimum of the induction level would be as follows: For Post Code XS001 to XS007 Consolidated Pay of Rs. 17430 /- p.m. inclusive of Basic Pay+ D.A. (at the minimum of the pay scale in Scale 6). For Post Code XS008 Consolidated Pay of Rs. 13530 /- p.m. inclusive of Basic Pay+ D.A. (at the minimum of the pay scale in Scale 4 ). In addition to the above, leave, medical facilities, conveyance reimbursement, canteen allowance. PF and Gratuity. Group Insurance etc. will be admissible as per rules. |
