RECRUITMENT FOR STAFF NURSE IN MINISTRY OF HEALTH IN DECEMBER 2013
SULTANATE OF OMAN MINISTRY OF HEALTHFOR CANDIDATES WITH PROMETRIC REPORT ONLY
STAFF NURSES (FEMALES ONLY)
B.Sc.Nursing or equivalent plus 4 years experience OR
Higher Secondary/Pre-Degree and Diploma In General Nursing & Midwifery plus 5 years experience in medical and surgical; neonatal intensive care (NICU); maternity inclusive of ante-natal and postnatal; labor room; intensive care (ICU and CCU); general pediatric; accident and emergency; and renal dialysis.
Salary: Rials Omani 275/- + 12.5% professional allowance per month with increments as decided by the Interview Team.
Only those who are actively practicing in hospitals need apply and not private duty nurses. Preference will be given to candidates with CPR/IV Therapy & Drug competency certificates. Only candidates having 5 years or more of specialty experience, with Prometric examination report of at least 50% need apply.
BENEFITS Include provision of accommodation or allowance in lieu of with hard furnishings including air conditioners. Water, electricity, transport allowances. Certain posting places have either of these facilities provided free. Economy class air-tickets at initial appointment and on final exit 75 percent of the cost of this ticket wil I be given once during the contractua I year for annual leave travel. Annual leave Is 38 days. Medical treatment is free within the Sultanate according to prevailing regulations. Candidates will be required to serve anywhere within the Sultanate of Oman. Placement cannot be guaranteed in advance.
