Applications on prescribed format are invited from citizens of India to fill up one poswf Driver (L'R) in the Pay Band of Rs. 5200 - 20200/- + Grade Pay Rs. 1900/- on regular basis in the North East Regional Institute of Education -NCERT. Umiam, Meghalaya:

Qualification :
1. 12th standard pass.
2. Possession of valid driving licence for motor cars (Light Motor Vehicle).
3. Experience of driving motor car for ai least three years.
Age Limit : Not exceeding 27 years as on the last date of receipt of application.
Pay Scale : Rs.5200-20200/- + Grade Pay Rs.1900/-
Genearal Instructions :
1. Interested candidates ma\ apply in the prescribed Application Form (Annexure - A).
. Certificates and testimonials in respect of proof of age. education, experience, caste etc. should be duly attested by a Gazetted Officer.
3. Incomplete/unsigned applications received without photographs, or received after the last date for receipt of application, will summarily be rejected without any communication to the candidate.
4. No TA/DA will be paid to any candidate for appearing in the skill test / interview.
5. Candidates who are employed in Govt. / Semi-Govt. /Autonomous bodies etc. should send their application through "proper channel" or submit No Objection Certificate from his/her employer. However the\ may send an advance copy of their application along with other certificates and testimonials so as to reach this office before the due date.
6. Wrong declaration/submission of false information or any other action contrary to law shall lead to cancellation of the candidature at any stage.
7. No interim correspondence will be entertained.
8. Mere submission of the application form and fulfillment of minimum essential qualifications etc. does not confer an\ right on the applicant to be called for skill test / interview. Wherever applications are received in large number, the Screening / Selection Committee reserve the right of short listing the applications on reasonable grounds.
9. Application should be sent in a cover super-scribed as "Application for Ihe post of Driver" by Registered Post/Speed Post, so as to reach the Principal, North East Regional Institute of Education. Umiam, Ri-Bhoi District, Pin - 793103, Meghalaya.
10. The last date of receipt of dul\ filled in application form is on 30.06.2014.
11. The competent authority reserves the right to cancel/suspend/postpone the recruitment process.
12. Canvassing in any form will be disqualification and shall lead to cancellation of the candidature.
