NIFT entrance exam is conducted in February across 30 Bangalore, Chennai, Gandhinagar, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai etc test centres in India. NIFT has more than 2000 seats in various design and fashion-centric courses. UG: Degree, Diploma, certificate courses in - Fashion and Textiles. Fashion and Apparel. Test Pattern and Selection: For Bachelor's Degree Programmes in Design the admission test generally consists of GAT (General Ability Test) - 40 per cent, CAT (Creative Ability Test) - 40 per cent. Situation Test - 20 per cent. Negative Marking for objective question is 0.25 marks per question. The admission to the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes of the institute take place on the basis of marks scored by the candidates in the written entrance test.
