Qualification	for male Secondary School Certificate Examination or equivalent qualification. Minimum height of 168 cms. Chest: unexpanded - 80 cms and expanded - minimum expansion - 5 cms. Should undergo and qualify in Physical Efficiency Test as follows:-i. One mile Race to be completed in 6 yA minutes. ii. Long Jump - 3.30 metres ( 3 chances ) iii. High Jump - 1.05 metres ( 3 chances ) Should pass Written Examination and Oral Interview conducted by the Police Department. Knowledge of Konkani, Marathi Essential (Female candidates) 1. Secondary School Certificate Examination or equivalent qualification. 2. Minimum height of 160 cms. 3. Weight not less than 45 kgs. 4. Should undergo and qualify in Physical Efficiency Test as follows:- i. 800 metres Run in 4 minutes. ii. Long Jump - 2.70 metres ( 3 chances ) iii. High Jump - 0.90 metres ( 3 chances ) 5. Should pass Written Examination and Oral Interview conducted by the Police Department. 6. Knowledge of Konkani Desirable 1. Knowledge of Marathi.
