NOTIFICATION :

1. It is hereby notified for the information of all Citizens of India that Ordnance Factory Bhandara intends to engage   the  following Graduate / Technician / Technician ( Vocational ) Apprentices for Apprenticeship training under the Apprentices (Amendment)   Acts, 1973 & 1986.
2. The Citizens of India who are willing for engagement to these apprentices at Ordnance Factory Bhandara and are fulfilling the eligibility criteria as prescribed in this Advertisement, can apply as per the instructions given in this Advertisement.

CRUCIAL DATE & CLOSING DATE :

The Crucial Date for all purposes i.e. for determining the Age Limits. Educational Qualifications and Other Qualifications, Gap Period etc. shall be the Closing Date for the submission of the Applications which shall be the 21st day from the date of the publication of this Advertisement in the Newspapers excluding the date of publication If the Closing Date as above falls on a Holiday for the Factory, the next working day shall be taken as the Closing Date for all purposes.

EDUCATIONAL AND OTHER QUALIFICATIONS :

• GRADUATE APPRENTICES - A Degree in Engineering or Technology granted by a statutory University OR an Institution empowered to" grant such Degree by an Act of Parliament OR Graduate Examination of Professional Bodies recognized by Central Government as equivalent to a degree.
• TECHNICIAN APPRENTICES - A Diploma in engineering or technology granted by a State Councilor Board of Technical Education established by a State Government OR a University OR an Institute recognized by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent above.
• TECHNICIAN (VOCATIONAL) APPRENTICES - Certificate in vocational course involving two years of study after the completion of the Secondary stage of School education recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education.

Provided that:

No Engineering Graduate or Diploma holder or Vocational Certificate holder who had training or job experience for a period of one year or more, after the attainment of these qualifications, shall be eligible for being engaged as an apprentice under the Act.

METHOD OF SELECTION :

The Selection shall be made as per Merit based on percentage of marks obtained in the concerned Degree/Diploma or Certificate Examination of the eligible candidates fulfilling the prescribed Educational and other Qualifications and other relevant criteria. There shall be NO Test or Interview for Selection.
