Vacancy Details MEGHALAYA Police 2014 Recruitment Post Details

Applications are invited in the PRESCRIBED printed FORM from eligible candidates who are Indian citizens and who are domiciled in the State of Meghalaya to fill up the under mentioned categories of vacancies in Armed Branch for the Special Forces-10 (SF-10). Application forms will be available with effect from 1st March 2014 onwards, through offices of all District Superintendents of Police and Commandants of MLP Battalions and Principal, PTS Mawroh Shillong on payment of Rs. 50/- (Rupees Fifty Only).
Recruitments shall be carried out to fill up the following posts carrying scales of pay as indicated against each:

THE LAST DATE FOR RECEIPT OF APPLICATION IS 1st April 2014. APPLICATIONS RECEIVED AFTER THE LAST DATE WILL NOT BE ENTERTAINED. ONLY ONE APPLICATION PER CANDIDATE WILL BE ALLOWED. INCOMPLETE AND/OR DEFECTIVE APPLICATIONS WILL BE REJECTED SUMMARILY.

The training, duties and responsibilities of the commandos/constables of the SF 10 are high risk and strenuous which would need specialized training and equipment in the chosen field of operation like jungle warfare, urban warfare, controlling riots and disaster management and mitigation. Candidates who cannot cope up with the conditions above need not apply.
On the spot temporary admit cards having names of candidates, post applied for and dates and venue of recruitment will be given to the candidates at the time of submission of the application forms. These temporary admit cards will be used for the PMT/PET. Final ADMIT CARDS with NAMES OF CANDIDATES, POST APPLIED FOR, DATES AND VENUE OF written test WILL BE DISTRIBUTED/ISSUED TO THE CANDIDATES IMMEDIATELY AFTER SCRUTINISING AND SCANNING OF APPLICATION FORMS AND GENERATION OF FINAL ADMIT CARDS

Eligibility: The following shall be the eligibility criteria for recruitment to various posts:
1.Only Indian Citizens domiciled in Meghalaya are eligible to apply.
2.Candidates should be able to speak read and write at least one of the regional languages of the State.
